Not “Just” Bookkeeping Services
Bookkeeping You manage the checks, we will manage the books. We’ll make sure that all your business activity is properly recorded and accounted for. We can do your monthly close, as well as maintain your accounting ledgers, including a monthly review of all account reconciliations and journal entries.
Financial statement preparation Depending on your needs, we can transform all those banking transactions into organized, understandable financial reports on a monthly or quarterly basis. Then, at tax time, you will have a QuickBooks file and financial reports to give to your tax CPA to make your tax preparation a breeze.
What do these reports mean? We can help you understand what all those numbers mean and why they matter. Have you ever thought that you need to cut your expenses, but you don’t know where to start? That is just one question that we can help you answer, and once you get past that, you can start thinking about the bigger question: how am I going to grow my business? We can help you understand the variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets, and provide corrective action recommendations to do just that.
Accounting catch-up Are your bank records piling up, waiting to be reconciled? In the flurry of running your business, doing your accounting is probably the last on your to-do list. We can catch your books up to date, whether you are months, quarters or years behind. But be warned: once you see how nice it is to have clean, updated books, you’re always going to want to have them that way.
Law firms onsite bookkeeping Your firm may not require a full-time bookkeeper, but you still have bookkeeping needs. We can provide onsite weekly, bi-weekly or monthly bookkeeping, including handling your A/R, A/P and other general accounting, for your law firm or small business. Save yourself the expense of a full-time employee, and outsource your accounting and billing to a highly trained CPA. Though we work with all small businesses, we specialize in law firms. On-site services are limited to Orange County only.
Contract/Part-time CFO Getting the basic reports and some recommendations isn’t enough for your firm. You need someone to dive deep into your financial data, to not only analyze the essential financial statements, but also design your accounting processes and other reports to evaluate business performance, cash flow, and what-if scenarios for future success. Traditionally, this would be the role of an in-house CFO, which is expensive and may not be justified for your firm at this juncture. Instead, hire us on a part-time basis to get the expert advice you need now.
Personal CFO You don’t need a bookkeeper for your business, but you do have a busy life and a lot of bills to pay. We can provide services including cash management, bill payment, budgeting, and forecasting. Similar to business financial statements, we can prepare personal financial reports so you can see where your money is going. We will work in conjunction with your other trusted advisors.
